Just called mum’s ward. She’s medically fit as far as the coronary care team are concerned. Problem is she still needs a little oxygen and the physios are concerned about her mobility. Mum is fine and making good progress. Her heart rate is still a little high and she’s being started on a different drug. I asked whether her pacemaker was working ok and the nurse said it’s clear from the heart monitor that it’s doing its job properly.
